FRANKFURT, GERMANY: Hong Kong is one of the world’s most important marketplaces for electronics. At IFA, from September 3rd to 8th, 55 companies from the metropolis will attend the trade fair to present their latest developments (2009: 50).

Sensor Industries Ltd. offers musical fun with the LED “Singing Bulb”. Looking like a commercial energy-saving lamp it contains a loudspeaker and a wireless receiver to transfer the music of MP3 players. The exhibitors of the Hong Kong pavilion will focus on environmental friendliness and energy efficiency as well. With the backpacks from Mascotte Ind. electronic equipment can be recharged using integrated solar cells. The devices will be connected inside the bag. The flexible Thin Film Solar Technology allows energy generation even when there is a shortage of light.

The Diamond Toaster of AME Advanced Materials Enterprises Co.
