EVATECH wins $1.7 million PV solar machine contract

SHENYANG, CHINA: A-Power Energy Generation Systems Ltd, a leading provider of distributed power generation systems in China and a fast-growing manufacturer of wind turbines, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, EVATECH Co. Ltd of Kyoto, Japan, has signed a definitive contract with a Chinese leading renewable energy company to supply one set of photovoltaic solar machines.

The contract covers the design, manufacturing and installation of the photovoltaic solar machine. The total value of the contract is $1.7 million. A down payment has been received with shipment expected on May 31, 2010.

EVATECH is a designer and manufacturer of industrial equipment for LCDs (liquid crystal displays), PDPs (plasma display panels) and amorphous-silicon (a-Si) photovoltaic (PV) panels.
