SHANGHAI, CHINA: JA Solar Holdings Co. Ltd, one of the world's largest manufacturers of high-performance solar cells and solar power products, has signed an agreement to deliver over 13MW of high efficiency, mono-crystalline solar cells to a leading US solar module manufacturer and systems company. Delivery began in the third quarter and will continue through the remainder of 2010.
"JA Solar is pleased to be working with this premier American solar company, which will help us to further penetrate the growing U.S. solar market," said Dr. Peng Fang, CEO of JA Solar.
"We believe we are well positioned as the world's leading crystalline-silicon solar cell supplier and we intend to expand our market share in the US and other key regions in the quarters to come," he said.
