Enphase Energy microinverter system now shipping in France and Benelux

Energaïa, PETALUMA, USA: Enphase Energy announced that the Enphase Microinverter System is immediately available in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands from Enphase authorized distributors. Recently the company announced the Enphase M215 Series microinverters were VDE certified to conform to European safety standards and received regulatory approval for grid connectivity in these countries.

“With over one-million units shipped, Enphase has proven the value of microinverter technology in over 30,000 installations across North America,” said Paul Nahi, CEO of Enphase Energy. “It is with this unprecedented success and field experience that we enter into Europe, the world’s largest solar market.”

Enphase commenced operations in France, Benelux and Italy in Spring 2011 to offer the European market a completely new high-tech approach to solar energy systems. Enhanced energy generation, improved safety and networked system intelligence are some of the key features of the Enphase Microinverter System now available in Europe.

“As an installer, we are looking to provide our customers with a solar system that maximizes energy production, while ease-of-installation, safety and long life are highly important for our team,” explains Gérard Genillon, director of CGL in the county of Isère, France. “We have been anticipating the arrival of Enphase Energy’s microinverter system in Europe and are excited to now offer it to our customers.”
