DIAMOND BAR, USA: Advanced Media Inc. (Ritek USA) announced the availability of its PM230 modules, 230 watt polycrystalline solar modules with black frames for residential roof top applications. The modules are expected to arrive June 1, 2010 at its City of Industry warehouse.
The black frame is colored through an anodized aluminum dying process so it is more durable and resistant to corrosion when exposed to natural elements.
The requests for high wattage modules with black frames have become more common among residential roof top installer’s clientele – home owners. The black frames blend into the roof tops and result in a less pronounced appearance. The demand revolves around aesthetics.
Ritek’s PM230 modules come with white back sheets to prevent the modules from getting hot and result in a faster degradation of efficiency levels. PM230 module efficiency is 13.86% and the output is +/-3%. The California Energy Commission list (CEC list) displays Ritek PM Series of modules as eligible modules for California rebates with the PM230 receiving a high PTC rating of 204.6 watts.
The dimensions are the same as the PM220, a silver-framed 220 watt module, at 65.3 inches (L) x 39.4 inches (W) x 1.65 inches (D) and weighing 46.3 pounds.
Ritek’s polycrystalline boasts TUV, CEC listings and UL 1703 certifications. The centerpiece products in this line are the PM 230 with black frame (230W), PM 225 (225 Watts), PM 220 (220 Watts), PM 220 (220 Watts) and PM 175 (175 Watts) modules. Ritek offers a reputation for reliability, durability, excellent energy conversion ratios and customizable back sheet colors.
Targeted for residential, off-grid solar plants, commercial grid-tied roof systems as well as automated systems this line offers distributors, installers and contractors a wide array of proven options with a performance warranty of 25 years.
