Solar Canada 2010, TORONTO, CANADA: Advanced Energy Industries Inc. will highlight its complete line of market-leading PV inverter solutions and operations and maintenance (O&M) services at Solar Canada 2010, CanSIA’s annual conference and exhibition. Advanced Energy’s Ontario-made Solaron 500 kW grid-tied inverter will be on display at the show, scheduled for December 6-7 in Toronto.
Advanced Energy announced its strategic expansion into Ontario, Canada in October with the establishment of a branch office in the region, and localized manufacturing capabilities.
The company formed a strategic relationship with Celestica, an Ontario-based leader in the delivery of end-to-end product lifecycle solutions to manufacture Solaron and PV Powered inverter products in Ontario. This agreement makes AE inverters compliant with the Ontario government’s Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) program, and expands the company’s global production capacity to meet growing demand for its utility-scale, commercial, and residential inverters.
Broadest line of market-leading PV inverter products: Advanced Energy offers a complete line of PV inverters that span utility-scale installations to smaller residential projects. Solaron and PV Powered inverters are raising the bar on solar power performance by delivering industry-leading efficiency, enabling a lower levelized cost of energy (LCOE), and providing a complete portfolio of lifecycle services.
Solaron PowerStation and PV Powered PowerVault: The latest additions to the industry-leading product line include PowerStation and PowerVault integrated solutions available in 620 kW to 2 MW configurations. These power conversion systems are customizable in open-skid and enclosed-container configurations and include inverters, switch-gear, and a medium-voltage transformer. The integrated designs eliminate the need for separate pads, trenching, and conduits between components, significantly reducing the need for field labor and accelerating the construction schedule.
SiteGuard Program: The SiteGuard whole-site O&M program covers all of the maintenance needs of the PV array. It simplifies O&M by consolidating the activities in AE’s existing Global Services organization that has supported multi-billion dollar, manufacturing facilities in the semiconductor and other industries that operate 24x7.
Asset owners, integrators, and EPCs have awarded AE service contracts at dozens of sites, demonstrating the confidence the market has in Advanced Energy’s Global Services and site quality benchmarking.
O&M Services Workshop: Advanced Energy will participate in the technical conference on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 10:00 am. Matt Denninger, Director of Services Marketing, will present “Using Whole-Site O&M Services to Improve Site Performance,” to discuss the benefits of sharing lessons learned from the field and the need for O&M planning in the design phase.
