Moser Baer emerges as first Indian solar PV company to achieve 100 MW of installations globally ‘under its own brand’

NEW DELHI, INDIA: The PV business of Moser Baer India has attained the distinction of becoming the first Indian Solar PV company to successfully achieve more than 100 MW solar installations globally.

These modules are widely bankable with leading banks and financial institutions across the world, making Moser Baer one of the preferred solar brands for the Solar Farm developers. The modules are specifically designed to generate optimum energy from sunlight which can withstand severe climatic vagaries over a period of 25 years.

Ratul Puri, executive director, Moser Baer India, said: “This is indeed a moment of pride to be the only Indian solar PV company to have installations of over 100 MW globally. This achievement motivates us to put our global expertise to domestic use and help give a fillip to the nation’s solar mission. It is notable that MBSL has provided thin film modules towards the commissioning of country’s largest solar farm in Tamil Nadu.”

Moser Baer already has the distinction of commissioning the first of its kind 1 MW thin film solar farm in Maharashtra and one of the largest residential roof-top Solar PV installations in Surat. These modules are customized to suit the area of its implementations like residential, commercial or for industrial purposes.
