GT Solar announces $70+ million polysilicon equipment contract with large Asian manufacturer

MERRIMACK, USA: GT Solar International Inc., a global provider of polysilicon production technology, crystalline ingot growth systems and related PV manufacturing services for the solar industry, has signed contracts with a total value of more than $70 million with a leading Asian polysilicon manufacturer for new CVD equipment and related polysilicon production services.
