HYDERABAD, INDIA: SEMI India, the Indian arm of SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment Materials International) and PV Group, a leading industry association serving the photovoltaic supply chain, will be conducting SOLARCON India 2010 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Hyderabad between July 28-30, 2010.
The forthcoming event is the second edition of the country’s largest and most successful solar-focused event, backed by the solar industry.
SOLARCON India 2010 will focus on the recently launched Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JN-NSM) which has set an ambitious target of 20,000 Megawatts (MW) of solar generated power by 2022 and aims at establishing India as a global leader in solar energy.
The event includes a best-in-class exhibition bringing together leading global and India Solar/PV players from the entire ecosystem to help build a robust PV supply chain to meet the demands of the JN-NSM. The associated three-day international conference will bring together eminent solar energy experts from industry, academia and the government who will present new technologies, solutions and trends and will discuss the opportunities and challenges in expanding solar energy in India.
