Ascent Solar announces upcoming expiration date for class B warrants

THORNTON, USA: Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. announced that the unexercised, outstanding Class B warrants issued in connection with the Company’s IPO in 2006 having an exercise price of $11.00 per common share are expected to expire July 10, 2011. The Class B warrants are covered by a current registration statement (registration number 333-131216) and the Class B warrants are currently exercisable. Accordingly, the Class B warrants will expire as scheduled on July 10, 2011, if not previously exercised.

Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. is a developer of thin-film photovoltaic modules with substrate materials that can be more flexible and affordable than most traditional solar panels. Ascent Solar modules can be directly integrated into standard building materials, commercial transportation, automotive solutions, space applications, consumer electronics for portable power or configured as stand-alone modules for large scale terrestrial deployment.
