Reis Robotics commissions 100th solar module production system

OBERNBURG, GERMANY: Reis Robotics is the world leader in automated solar module assembly lines. Reis has delivered its one hundredth system, now installed at the customer's site. Orders have been placed for further systems which are already in production.

"The customers of Reis Robotics benefit from the modular and standardized production lines to satisfy the further increasing demands for solar modules worldwide," says Steffen Guenther, Reis Robotics Sales Manager. "Advantages of standardization not only mean shorter project runtimes and faster deliveries, but also more efficient production methods and thus finally the best possible price/performance ratio for our customers."

Based on years of experience gained in turnkey automation systems in a variety of industrial segments, and profound technological know-how in solar module systems, Reis Robotics has developed sophisticated automation technology for solar, which is proven and running worldwide in various production plants. The Reis installed base capacity represents over 6 gigawatts (GW) of additional, clean electric power with solar modules each year.

Reis Robotics is a system supplier, so complete turnkey production lines are delivered to the end users. Reis has delivered systems for crystalline silicon module production, thin film and solar thermal applications. Options include manual systems, semi-automatic, or fully automatic production lines, and capacities from 10 MWp up to 600 MWp.

With headquarters in Obernburg and eight service subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and the United States, Reis Robotics ensures a worldwide network for fast and effective commissioning of new production lines at customer sites, and continued best-of-class support for years of robust line performance.
