USA: ForesightPower, a St. Paul, Minnesota-based distributor of solar-powered street lighting systems, announced a strategic agreement with Fonroche Energie, a French manufacturer of renewable energy products, to supply new advanced solar lighting systems worldwide.
ForesightPower will integrate solar lighting components with poles to supply durable outdoor lights that are efficient, low cost and don’t need to be connected to a power grid.
ForesightPower systems rely exclusively on renewable energy produced by solar cells on the lighting pole, making them effective for lighting in developing markets with unreliable power infrastructure, in areas with high electric costs, and at public and educational sites.
